This Privacy Policy explains how VDurga Industries Private Limited, operating VCO Job, collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you use the VCO Job App, website, and related services.
This policy is intended to operate with applicable provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 where applicable, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, as and when the relevant provisions are in force.

2.2 APP PERMISSIONS & DEVICE ACCESS
- Location: Used, where enabled and permitted, for nearby service discovery, service allocation, navigation, service progress, and related location-based functionality.
- Camera: Used where applicable for profile, identity/verification, service documentation, or supporting photographs.
- Photos / Gallery: Used where applicable to upload profile photographs, service-related images, documents, or supporting evidence.
- Microphone: Used where applicable for voice communication or voice-message features made available in the App.
- Notifications: Used for booking confirmations, service updates, status changes, payments, security alerts, support messages, and optional promotional communications.
- Storage / Files: Used where applicable to upload, access, save, or download documents, receipts, photographs, or other service-related files.
Only permissions actually required by the final App should be requested. Permission descriptions, Google Play Data Safety declarations, Apple App Privacy disclosures, and the App's actual technical behaviour must remain consistent with this policy.
2.3 INFORMATION WE COLLECT
- Personal details: name, phone number, age, gender, date of birth, email address, residential address, and profile information.
- Payment information: transaction and payment status information processed through authorized payment providers. VCO Job does not ordinarily store complete card details where those details are processed directly by payment providers.
- Service information: booking, service request, status, service-provider interaction, ratings/feedback, and related records.
- Usage and device data: app interactions, IP address, device model, operating system, app version, diagnostic and crash information.
- Location data: location information used for relevant service and Platform functionality, subject to permission and applicable settings.
- Photos, files, and audio: where a participant uses corresponding features and permissions.
- Cookies and similar technologies: where used for functionality, analytics, security, and user experience.
2.4 HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- Process service requests, bookings, payments, and related transactions.
- Connect Users with Service Providers and provide relevant service information.
- Provide status updates, support, notifications, and communications.
- Improve app performance, features, reliability, and security.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, and safety incidents.
- Resolve disputes and investigate complaints.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, tax, and other lawful obligations.

- With Service Providers, to the extent reasonably necessary to fulfil requested services.

- With group entities, affiliates, franchisees, authorized partners, or operational entities only where reasonably necessary for lawful Platform operations, support, compliance, or service enablement and subject to appropriate safeguards.
- With government, law-enforcement, courts, or regulators where required or permitted by law.
VCO Job does not sell or rent personal data for independent marketing purposes. Where promotional sharing or other processing requires consent, the applicable consent/choice mechanism will be provided.
2.6 DATA SECURITY
VCO Job uses reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption where appropriate, access controls, secure infrastructure, role-based access, and security reviews. No electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
2.7 DATA RETENTION
Personal data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including service delivery, accounting, taxation, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, security, and legal obligations.
2.8 ACCOUNT DELETION
Users may initiate deletion of their VCO Job account through the account settings in the App. The deletion process should be clear and reasonably accessible.
Account deletion does not necessarily require deletion of information that VCO Job is legally required or otherwise permitted to retain for taxation, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, legal claims, or other lawful purposes. Retained information will be limited to the applicable purpose and retention period.

- Request access to and correction of personal information, subject to applicable law.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, subject to legal or operational consequences.

2.10 CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
VCO Job services are generally intended for adults. Where a service is legally permitted for a minor with verified parental or guardian involvement, applicable safeguards will apply.
